What is recorded here
Tomdeely North once held a twenty-five-metre earthen ring, visible on the 1841 map but now erased from the undulating pasture. The land swallowed the fortress, removing its boundary and leaving behind only a vague memory of shape. What was built to resist forgetting has forgotten itself.
In undulating pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
