What is recorded here

Mortons and others built round houses inside the earthen ring, perhaps as a boundary marker or defensive stronghold. People called it a fairy fort because the small creatures lived there long before humans arrived. The name suggests the building served more than one purpose, maybe a warning about invisible occupants or a joke about human arrogance.
