Skreeny holds a circular earthen fort on a drumlin slope above the Glenfarne valley, its twenty-eight-metre interior marked by a round-topped bank and western entrance. Two other raths sit within a hundred metres, suggesting a small cluster of occupied or claimed ground rather than a lonely marker. The earth has softened the edges, but the shape remains clear enough to imagine people moving through that western gap, watching the valley, and living inside a boundary they built with their own hands.

Located on the SW-facing slope of a drumlin on the N side of the W-E Glenfarne valley at is W end. This is an overgrown circular area (int. diam. c. 28m) defined by a round-topped earthen bank (at SW: Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1m), and an outer fosse (Wth 1.1m; D.0.2m), which is visible at W. There is an entrance (Wth 2.8m) at WSW. Rath (LE007-069----) is c. 90m to the N and rath (LE007-0071----) is c. 60m to the SW.
