Fairy fort in Sheebeg: a wet, rush-choked ring on the hill’s west shelf, its earthen bank still drawing the eye though no ditch remains. The eastern gap admits rain, breath, or whatever walks there at night. Fifty metres south, another enclosure waits, suggesting a small neighbourhood rather than a lonely marker. People may have lived, herded, or hidden here before fairy names smoothed the edges of memory.

Located on a shelf on the W-facing slope of Sheebeg Hill. It is visible as a circular feature on aerial photographs (GSIAP: H, 76-7). This is a grass and rush-covered circular area (int. diam. 27m N-S; 26.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.2-4.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.4-0.5m) with a wet interior. The entrance (Wth 3m) is at E, but there is no visible fosse. Enclosure (LE028-020----) is c. 55m to the S.
