Fairy fort in Rathmorgan, County Cork: a rough circular earthwork north of Awbeg River, with a two-metre bank, shallow outer ditch, and a three-metre gap to the east. The interior sits slightly above the pasture, while bushes choke much of the bank. People may have lived there, marked territory there, or simply avoided the place because the shape felt owned.

In level pasture, to N of Awbeg River. Roughly circular area (44m E-W; 37.1m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2m) with external fosse (D 1.2m). Bank overgrown with bushes; best preserved internally to W and N. Break in bank (Wth 3m) to E. Interior appears raised above level of surrounding field.
