Quarrying and grading removed much of the fort before the inventory measured what remained. The measureable result is a level circular patch in pasture, not a standing ringfort. Any fairy fort label must therefore describe local belief or lost shape, not the visible evidence.

In pasture, atop N-S ridge, in bend of River Funshion which lies to W, N and NE of site. Circular area (diam. 30m) enclosed by two overgrown, earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.4m, to base of fosse), consisting of scarp with slight internal lip, survives NE->W. Outer bank (int. H 0.7m to base of fosse; ext. H 1.2m) broken to NE, due to quarrying, and to W. Quarrying extending on to site from NNE cuts into N side of enclosure, removing inner bank and intervening fosse W->NNE. Intervening fosse survives best to S where it appears more like a walkway between widely spaced banks; heavily overgrown. Interior level. According to local information, site levelled c. 1989.
