What is recorded here

An earthen ringfort in Rathclooney, County Clare. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the field was empty when the story began. That gap is not nothing. It is the shape of a room nobody entered, a door closed from the other side. The earth kept its edge while human memory thinned. What is missing is not absence. It is a living boundary, waiting for a witness strong enough to see the shape it has kept.
