Mortars and wheels erased the fort, but they failed to erase the memory of shape. The land still holds the ghost of a circle, waiting for someone stubborn enough to listen.

Marked on the 1841-42 and 1914-15 OS maps. This univallate rath was marked on the first edition map as being cut in half by a bohareen. Today this site has been levelled and only survives as a slight rise above the surrounding land. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
