What is recorded here

O'brienscastle holds a earthen ringfort, a circular defence built by human hands though local legend still calls it a fairy fort. The clay bank rises from the Clare landscape like a forgotten collar, marking a place where people once lived, fought or hid before the story changed. It is not a mythical mound but a human home transformed by time into wonder.
