Mucklaghan Glebe holds a forgotten ringfort where a shallow ditch still cuts the grass beneath overgrown brambles. People may have lived inside that circle before the land swallowed the entrance, but the fairies took the name and keep the place closed to human memory.

Located towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a drumlin, and c. 180m from the N shore of Mucklaghan Lough. This is an overgrown circular area (diam. c. 25-30m) defined by a fosse (at W: Wth of top c. 2m; Wth of base 1m; int. D 0.5m; ext. D 0.4m). The original entrance is not identified.
