Fairy fort in Moyge, County Cork: a broken-slope ring, 36 metres across, with an earthen bank, shallow outer ditch and a two-metre gap to the east. Inside the southwest grass lies a man-made passage descending into darkness, while another possible enclosure waits a short distance south-east. People may have kept animals, hidden tools or tended hearths there before calling it a fairy fort; the names changed, but the hole and ring remained.

In pasture, on break in E-facing slope. Circular area (36.5m E-W; 35.8m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.1m) with external fosse (D 0.7m). Causewayed entrance (Wth 2m) to E. Man-made underground passage (CO007-134---) in SW quadrant of interior. Possible enclosure (CO007-090---) lies c. 130m SSE.
