Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Moyarta West

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Moyarta West contains a genuine earthen ringfort misnamed as a fairy fort. It is a rath, not a fantasy trap, though people still point at the bank and warn others about invisible residents. The soil may have hidden a household, a herdsman or a child from the storm. The fairies are likely only the part of the story that refused to be forgotten.
