Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Moveen West

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort and earthen ringfort in Moveen West, County Clare, Ireland. A rath, which means a fort or enclosure, still stands where people lived, worked or kept property long before the area had a modern name. The earth may have hidden doors, rooms or boundaries now lost, but the name and place preserve the shape of that older life.
