Fairy fort in Mountplummer: circular earthworks, 43m across, with bank and fosse on an east-facing hill slope above a stream. Cattle have worn a wide eastern gap, suggesting the ring still serves as shelter, shade or simply a convenient path through pasture. Oak trees cover the interior, making the old boundary feel less like ruin and more like a living room the land keeps rearranging.

In pasture, on E-facing slope, immediately below brow of hill, overlooking stream c. 50m to S. Circular area (43.3m N-S; 43.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 2.2m) with external fosse (D 0.7m; Wth 3.3m). Field boundary skirts around outside edge of fosse SSW->NW. Opening at E where wide gap in bank (Wth c. 9m) has been worn down by cattle accessing interior. Interior, under rough pasture, slopes down gently to E. Mature oak trees cover entire site.
