Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Morgans North

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Morgans North holds a thirty-six-metre earthen ring where collapsed stone and stubborn grass have swallowed the truth. The bank still rises one metre above the pasture, marking a boundary drawn before human memory. Whatever lived inside that circle has returned to the soil, leaving only a shallow dish for the rain to fill.
In level pasture. Circular area (36.2m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) which is eroded badly in places and overgrown with trees. Level interior is partially covered by overgrowth, otherwise under rough pasture. Just W-of-centre is short run of collapsed stone wall (L 12.7m; H 0.6m; Wth 5m).
