Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Milltown (castlereagh By., Castleteheen Ed) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Milltown (castlereagh By., Castleteheen Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupied a SE-NW valley bottom as a circular grass and rush-covered area measuring 29m NE-SW and 28.1m NW-SE. An earthen bank with bushes and an outer fosse defined the perimeter, while a NE-SW field bank overlies the interior towards the SE perimeter. The structure is no longer visible because it was removed before 2012.
In a SE-NW valley-bottom. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 29m NE-SW; 28.1m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.5-3m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.6-0.8m), and an outer fosse (Wth of top 2.4-3.4m; Wth of base 1.2-1.6m; D 0.3-0.5m) N-W. There is no identifiable original entrance, and a NE-SW field bank overlies the interior towards the perimeter at SE (max. ext. diam. 36m NE-SW). It has been removed since 2005 (OSI images, c. 2012).
