What is recorded here

No visible wall or gate remains in Mastergeeha, only a faint shadow in an old aerial photograph and a changing field boundary. That absence makes the place more striking: a large ring once stood where pasture now moves in the wind. The fairy fort may have been forgotten, buried or simply stopped being seen. It still occupies the corner of the field, waiting for someone to notice what the land has already let go.

In pasture, in the SE corner of a field, on a S-facing slope. This rath is not visible at ground level. According to the landowner, there was a circular feature at this location up to some time ago. An arc (C 45m) of the bank S-N is visible in aerial photographs (GSIAP, V 396, W 447) taken in 1977. This arc, along with field boundaries at E and S, enclose an area (diam. 40m) in the SE corner of the field.
