What is recorded here
Situated on top of a slight natural rise overlooked by a hillock to the NW. Earthwork (WM008-088----) 250m to SE. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 30m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening space (no fosse). The inner bank is poorly preserved, and has an entrance gap (Wth 2.8m) at NE. The outer bank is visible only from SW-NW. The interior rises slightly towards the centre. In the W quadrant a trench has been dug into the inner bank, and the sub-triangular platform outside it appears to be upcast spoil.
