Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Mabestown is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Mabestown, County Westmeath, Ireland. Situated on top of a slight natural rise overlooked by a hillock to the northwest, the site consists of a raised sub-circular area approximately 30 meters north-south and 25 meters east-west in diameter. It is enclosed by two earthen banks with an intervening space and no fosse, while the poorly preserved inner bank features a 2.8 meter wide entrance gap at the northeast. The outer bank is visible only from the southwest to the northwest, and the interior rises slightly towards the centre.

Situated on top of a slight natural rise overlooked by a hillock to the NW. Earthwork (WM008-088----) 250m to SE. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 30m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening space (no fosse). The inner bank is poorly preserved, and has an entrance gap (Wth 2.8m) at NE. The outer bank is visible only from SW-NW. The interior rises slightly towards the centre. In the W quadrant a trench has been dug into the inner bank, and the sub-triangular platform outside it appears to be upcast spoil. See attached plan of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
