No fairy, no fortress. A round home, a ditch, a garden ridge and a small hut: an ordinary life kept warm on level Cork ground. The fairies entered later, as they do everywhere humans stop naming the dead.

In pasture, on level ground. Circular area (35.5m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 1.1m); external, waterlogged fosse (D 0.6m). Stone wall atop bank W->NW. Cultivation ridges cross interior on NE-SW axis; circular hut site (diam. 5m) (CO127-027001-) in SE quadrant.
