Fairy fort in Lonagh, County Cork: a broken earthen ring on a south-facing slope, still marking the field edge though farm work has flattened much of the bank. People may have lived there, feared there, or hidden passage stories inside the hill; the earth keeps all three possibilities without choosing one.

In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Originally subcircular enclosure (c. 39m N-S; c. 34m E-W), enclosed within square field of approx. similar shape. Levelled bank survives as slight rise inside field fence to W; scarp (H 1.35m) to E and S with slight internal lip. Tradition of Man-made underground passage (CO135-099002-) in interior.
