Fairy fort in Lissodeige, County Kerry: an earthen ringfort, a rath, still standing where human hands shaped the land. Local tradition calls it a fairy fort, which means people once believed the place belonged to something older or hidden. Whether that is literal or metaphorical, the earthwork remains: a circle of soil and memory in the Kerry landscape.
