Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lissaniska (iraghticonnor By.)

Lissanfarran/Lios an Fhearainn (ringfort of the land) is situated SE of Lisnabro (KE011-028----) and S of Lios Ruadh (KE011-025----) in the same townland. This site is marked on the 1841-42 OS map but does not appear on the later edition map and no trace remains today. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’.
