Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lispuckaun

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Lispuckaun contains a genuine earthen ringfort, though local tradition calls it a fairy fort. People built the rampart for humans, yet the fairy name suggests the site still feels occupied by something unseen. That is not dismissal, but recognition that death and mystery often inhabit the same place.
