Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lisduff (carbury By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lisduff (carbury By.), County Sligo, Ireland. The site occupies a level summit on a broad east-west ridge and contains a raised circular area twenty-two metres across. Three banks of earth and stone surround the centre, though erosion has removed parts of the second bank and the original entrance is no longer recognisable.
Situated on level summit of a broad E-W orientated ridge, in gently undulating good pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by a narrow bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.9m; int. H 0.4m). At the external foot of the bank is a berm (Wth 2.4m) and a second bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.9m; int. H 0.6m). ). At the external foot of the second bank is a berm (Wth 2.7m) and a third bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.2m). A large glacial erratic in the form of a conglomerate block (1.4m3) is incorporated into the internal bank at W. From NW-NE the second bank has been eroded out and is only barely visible. Both of the berms/in-filled fosses enclose the entire site and the external third bank encloses the site SW-NW with traces only visible elsewhere. The original entrance is not recognisable. There are breaks in the inner bank at E (Wth 2m) and at S (Wth 4m). Neither have opposing breaks in the second bank.
