Clearance stones and tangled growth have smothered the bank, but a thirty-metre circle still holds its shape in the level pasture. The western ditch holds water, while the eastern edge bears the scars of fields stripped and rebuilt. People may have lived inside that ring before forgetting its name, or the fairies may have taken it back when the chambers stopped being useful. Either way, the earth kept the shape long after the hands left it.

In level pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank with substantial external fosse. Fosse to W partially waterlogged. Stream depicted flowing in fosse SSW->N on 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps. Field clearance material dumped on top of bank and in fosse to E. Interior and banks heavily overgrown and inaccessible.
