Levally West held an earthen ringfort on a north-facing slope above bogland until recent digging removed it. A house now occupies the flat ground where the fort stood, denying the site to every viewer who arrives expecting walls or ditches. The loss is not mysterious; human hands changed the place and stopped the old form from continuing.

On a N-facing slope in reclaimed grassland overlooking bogland. According to local information, there was an earthen 'fort' here which was levelled quite recently.
