Fairy fort in Lenamore, County Galway: a worn earth ring, forty metres wide, set on a grassy rise above dark wet ground. Inside, a straight earth bank divides the space, and a buried grave marker waits beneath the soil. The shape is old enough to belong before written memory, large enough to hold a household, and quiet enough to hide its purpose from modern eyes.

On a rise in undulating grassland overlooking poorly drained terrain to SW. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 43m, N-S 40m) defined by a degraded scarp. Within the interior is an earthen bank running E-W, probably an internal division, to S of which is a CBG (GA016-094001-).
