Lackaduv holds a thirty-metre earthen ring on a south-facing slope, marked clearly on maps since 1842. The bank rises from southeast to northwest while a natural scarp completes the oval, creating a shallow basin broken by rock outcrops. A hidden passage may still cut through the southern half, suggesting the fort served more than passive shelter.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured oval raised area on 1903 and 1940 OS 6-inch maps. Oval, raised area (38m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by earthen bank SE->NNW; natural scarp elsewhere. Interior slopes down gently to NE, broken by rock outcrops; possible Man-made underground passage (9080) in S half.
