Knockrour holds a twenty-nine metre earthen ring beside modern farm buildings, marking a place where people once drew a clear boundary around their lives. Trees now choke the bank and interior, turning a sharp defensive shape into a soft green knot. The hidden passage mentioned in local data suggests the fort may have contained more than an ordinary home, perhaps a cellar, cache or retreat for when danger closed in.

In pasture, immediately SW of farmbuildings. Roughly circular area (diam. 29m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.7m); shallow external fosse to SW. Bank and parts of interior planted with trees.
