What is recorded here

Knocknahaha holds a earthen ringfort, a circular defence built by human hands yet named for fairy forts because local tradition still credits the hidden people. The earthworks stand in County Kerry, shaping a small enclosed space where people may have lived, herded animals or marked territory before written records reached the area. Its boundary remains visible enough to walk, separating ordinary ground from a place where imagination still has room to enter.
