Knockboy holds a broken earthen ring where human hands shaped the slope before memory faded. The bank still rises seventy-five centimetres outside, marking a circular space wide enough for a small household to live, work and argue beneath an open sky. A field boundary now cuts through the middle, splitting the ancient interior into two unequal parts. The fort has lost its identity but kept its shape, waiting for someone to walk the seam and imagine the lives that turned that earth into a home.

In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Roughly circular area (24.7m NE-SW; 23.4m NW-SE) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.75m). Interior bisected by field boundary running NW-SE; heavily overgrown, especially SW half; slopes down to SE.
