What is recorded here
Knock is a fairy fort where human history and imaginary warning collide. The earth still holds the shape of a ringfort, but local memory has redirected the meaning. People may have lived there, resisted there or forgotten there. The fairies enter later, not to replace the truth but to protect it from ordinary explanation.
