Fairy fort in Kilmacahill, County Cork, is a circular earthen ringfort with a two-metre bank, preserving a level interior on an east-facing slope. It may have been a homestead, a boundary marker, or a place where people believed the fairies still lived. The earth remains shaped against the hill, holding the memory of hands that built it and eyes that watched it change.

In tillage, on E-facing slope. Circular area (25m E-W; 24.3m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 2m) NNW->W. Interior slopes down to E; raised on E side to compensate for hillslope.
