What is recorded here

Killulla holds a earthen ringfort called a fairy fort, meaning people believed fairies lived there rather than humans. It stands in County Clare as a rath, a simple earthwork where ordinary life may have unfolded before wonder took it over. The distinction matters because fear and wonder both shaped what people remembered.
