What is recorded here

Killernan holds a fairy fort, an earthen ringfort built by human hands but renamed by local imagination. The clay bank still stands in County Clare, marking a place where people lived, defended or gathered before written memory arrived. The fairy label does not dismiss that human history; it preserves the wonder the site still carries.
