Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilkee West

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Kilkee West holds a forgotten ringfort where clay and stone still mark the boundary of human life. The fairies may have taken the name, but people built the circle, perhaps to keep rain out or danger away. That much is clear even when the story is not.
