What is recorded here
Marianne and I sat beside the dead woman's fort in Kilkee Lower, watching shadow lengthen across the grass. She touched the bank as if testing skin, then whispered that the dead woman still walks the ring at midnight. We stayed until stars appeared, not from fear but curiosity, listening for footsteps that never came.
