Situated on an elevated natural rise in gently undulating pasture-land, with excellent views to NW & SE. Earthwork (WM008-018----) 270m to SE. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 25m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by a well preserved earthen bank and slight external fosse. The entrance at NE is represented by a gap (Wth 2.5m) and causeway (Wth 3.2m; H 0.25m) across the fosse. The interior rises towards the centre. Outside the fosse at NE is a poorly preserved earthen C-shaped bank, which forms an annexe on this side.
