Kilclare Beg is a grassy ringfort on a drumlin in County Leitrim. Its low earthen bank circles a space twenty-two metres wide, yet no entrance remains visible. People may have lived there before the land forgot the door.

Located on top of a drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered circular area (int. diam. 22m E-W; 21m N-S) defined by an overgrown, low, earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.45m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
