What is recorded here
Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilcash is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilcash, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular feature measures about thirty-five metres across and appears clearly on aerial photographs taken from above. It sits towards the top of the east-facing slope of Moydow Hill. Reclaimed pasture now covers the ground, hiding the earthworks from view at ground level.
Visible as a circular feature (diam. c. 35m) on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 153-4), and situated towards the top of the E-facing slope of Moydow Hill. It is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture, but it was probably a rath.
