What is recorded here

Kilcanway held a twenty-two-metre earthen ring before ploughs and development erased it. The 1842 survey still drew its circular lines, capturing a boundary that people likely walked, worked beside or argued over generations earlier. The fort disappeared into ordinary pasture, yet the drawing preserves its shape long after the soil forgot it.
