What is recorded here
Located towards the top of a low hillock. The cropmark of a bivallate enclosure (int. diam. c. 32m; ext. diam. c. 50m) is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, AVK 81). The inner fosse feature appears to be wider than the outer. It is not visible at ground level in pasture.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
