Fairy fort in Gortnacreha stood thirty metres wide on a gentle south-west slope until local people levelled it around 1967. Its single bank and surrounding fosse disappeared beneath pasture, but an underground passage still cuts through the northern half. The untouched ground has since grown thick and wild, hiding the shape that maps once marked clearly.

In pasture, on gentle SW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps, truncated on N side by roadway. According to local information, fort levelled c. 1967; consisted of a single bank surrounded by a fosse. Area has remained untouched and as a result is heavily overgrown.
