Fairy fort in Gortavranner, County Cork. A broken earthen circle, wide enough for a dozen people to walk around inside, sits in pasture on a gentle slope. Cattle have trampled the ground flat, but the bank and ditch still mark the shape of a place set apart. People may have lived there, or kept animals, or simply avoided it because the story said it belonged to someone else.

In pasture, on gentle NNW-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.7m); external fosse (D 1m). Gap in bank to NNW, SE and S.
