Glanerdalliv holds Lissanaffrin, a circular earthen fort forty-two metres across where a steep outer bank still rises three and a half metres above the surrounding land. The western edge is cut by a fieldbank, while a shallow ditch traces the northern, eastern and southern perimeter. It is called the ringfort of the mass, suggesting worship or gathering within its unbroken circle long before written memory.

Internal diameter 42m N-S, 41m E-W Lissanaffrin/Lios an Aifrinn (ringfort of the mass). This univallate rath, slightly cut on its W side by a fieldbank running N-S, consists of a circular area enclosed by a well-defined bank. The enclosing bank has a steeper exterior side rising to a maximum of 3.6m, while the height above the interior is 1.6m. Slight trace of an external fosse is to be noted N through E to S; it is 1.8m wide and .5m below the height of the surrounding land. The above description is derived from C.
