Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Glan (carbery East (e.d) By.) stands in pasture on a NNE-facing slope, two kilometres south-southwest of Ballynacarriga Castle and lake. Its earthen bank rises 3.15 metres around a 36-metre circular area, broken only by a 2-metre eastern gap and shadowed by an underground passage within. The interior slopes downward to the northeast, inviting imagination about hidden chambers, lost rituals or forgotten lives beneath the grass.

In pasture, on NNE-facing slope, 2km SSW of Ballynacarriga Castle and lake. Circular area (36m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 3.15) with external fosse (D 0.85m) E->NNW. Single line of conifers planted outside bank N->E. Gap (Wth 2m) to E. Interior slopes down to NE. Man-made underground passage (CO121-005002-) in interior.
