Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Gerrib Little is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Gerrib Little, County Sligo, Ireland. The site sits on a low rise in undulating pasture and is largely levelled. A raised oval area measures 43.5 metres east-west and about 38.5 metres north-south, bounded by a shallow scarp and a faint bank. A narrow fosse appears at the south, east and north-east, but the original entrance is no longer visible.
Situated on a low rise in undulating pasture. Largely levelled. Remains comprise a raised oval area (dims. 43.5m E-W; c.38.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.05m - 0.55m) with ephemeral remains of a levelled bank at its upper edge. At the foot of the scarp is a fosse (Wth. 4.5m; D 0.2m) which is identifiable at S, E and NE. Original entrance not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011
