Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Garraunorish

Situated on flat pasture in undulating countryside. A raised roughly circular area (diam. 40m NW-SE) enclosed by a poorly preserved tree-lined earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.3m) which has been mainly reduced to a scarp. There is a possible entrance gap (Wth 3m) at W. This site may have been reused as a tree-ring in the nineteenth century.
