Garranereagh holds a broken fairy fort where a limekiln and old fence stones still mark the south edge. The lane cut through it in the 1842 map, and the field has since taken much of the rest. What remained is a shallow ring, not a display, yet it keeps the shape of human use long after the use disappeared.

In pasture. Roughly circular area (35.3m E-W; 32m N-S) enclosed by low earthen bank (max. H 0.75m) to N, E and S. Bank on S side incorporates remains of limekiln (CO095-014001-); ruined stone facing visible to NW where once incorporated into field fence system. Laneway crossing interior from N to S on 1842 OS 6-inch map indicated by parallel undulations. Interior surface uneven; small cairn of field clearance stones in NW quadrant.
